I agree peace and global cooperation are crucial, and Russia's invasion is clearly unjustified, but I wanted to clarify a few points for accuracy.

You mentioned one country invaded another "with the explicit goal of wiping it off the map." Putin's initial stated goal was actually to quickly replace Ukraine's government and establish a buffer against NATO's expansion—not complete annihilation. Additionally, a significant portion of Eastern Ukraine speaks Russian, and Putin has cited protecting these populations as part of his rationale.

This conflict was preventable through diplomatic means, and continued escalation is deeply troubling. Thanks again for fostering this important discussion!

Peace treaty never works. Period. For the first time in modern history, one particular region of people are witnessing something which is done by they hate or influenced to hate.

But this is not the first invasion, not by them but not by opposite parties too. For the longest period, many peace treaties have been signed and broke by proxy players who are in power. The only difference is that people who never noticed in 1st place starting to feel the heat.

The post view only show that how short timeframe we are looking at and how much we ignored. Nations collapsed, destroyed by these so called peace treaties and these superior nations
